武将カートとは

４００年以上も前の時代。日本の国内はいくつもの国に分かれ、それぞれの国を治める武将たちがその領土拡張と覇権を争い、そして天下統一を目指して各地で合戦を繰り返していました。この時代を日本の歴史の中で「戦国時代」と呼び、またその時代に戦っていた大名たちを「戦国武将」と呼んでいます。

An era more than 400 years ago. Japan was divided into many territories, and the warlords who ruled each country fought for territorial expansion and supremacy, and fought battles in various locations with the aim of unifying the country. This period in Japanese history is called the “Sengoku period” and the feudal lords who fought during that period are called “Sengoku warlords”.

時は流れて現代、現代に蘇った武将たちが、その合戦を「刀を交えない戦い」、つまり「競走」として行うため、合戦場を現代のレーシングコースに移し、軍馬からレーシングカートに乗り換え、合戦の際に頭部を守る兜を現代のレース用ヘルメットに換え、敵を斬るための刀をハンドルに持ち替えて戦う、現代の侍の「血を流さない合戦」、それが「武将カート」であります。

村田町は、重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定された土蔵が並ぶ街並みが残る「蔵のまち」。そして町内に国内有数の総合モータースポーツ施設「スポーツランドSUGO」があり、ここは「音速の貴公子」と呼ばれた伝説のF-1レーサー「アイルトン・セナ」がレーシングカートの国際レースで日本デビューをした「モータースポーツ、そしてレーシングカートの聖地」です。

Murata Town is known as the “Kura no Town or Warehouse Town” with its townscape lined with warehouses that have been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. And within the town is Sportsland SUGO, one of Japan’s leading comprehensive motorsports facilities, where the legendary F-1 racer Ayrton Senna, known as the “Prince of Sonic”, made his debut in Japan in an international kart race. It is the “holy place for motorsports and racing karts.”

この村田町の新たな魅力を産み出すため、「蔵のまち」と「レーシングカートの聖地」の両方を掛け合わせ、「武将カート」が考え出されました。
「武将カート」は、歴史的な「蔵の町並み」とレーシングカートの聖地「スポーツランドＳＵＧＯ」が共存する村田町しか産み出せないレーシングカート文化です。レーシングカートを基本に、もっと気軽に利用できる「レンタルカート」を入口とした地域に残る歴史文化の保存活用推進と、「武将」を入口としたモータースポーツの新たなファン層獲得を目指します。

In order to create a new charm for Murata Town, we came up with the idea of ”Busho Karting” by combining the words Kura no Machi and Sacred Place for Racing Karts’.
‘Busho Karting’ is possible because it is the only area where the historic Kura no Townscape and the sacred place of racing karts Sportsland SUGO coexist. Based on racing karts, we aim to promote the preservation and utilization of the historical culture that remains in the region by using the more easily available “rental carts” as an entry point, and to acquire a new fan base for motorsports using “warlords/samurai masters” as an entry point.

参加される方には、武将の甲冑をモチーフとしたプロテクター、ヘルメット、陣羽織などを身に着けて、いつものカートとは一味違う新たな楽しみ方を提案しています。
将来的に公道を走れるカートを導入し、「蔵のまち」をカートで巡ることができるコンテンツにつなげたいと考えています。また、将来的に子供が車を運転できるコンテンツを作って自動車に興味を持ってもらい、将来の自動車ファン、モータースポーツファンの創出につなげていきたいと考えています。

For those who participate, we propose a new way to enjoy the event, which is different from the usual karts, by wearing protectors, helmets, and coats with motifs of military commander armor.
In the future, we would like to introduce carts that can be driven on public roads and create content that allows people to tour Kura no Machi in carts. Additionally, in the future, we would like to create content that allows children to drive cars, get them interested in cars, and lead to the creation of future car fans and motorsports fans.

武将カートで使用する車両は、スポーツランドSUGOのレンタルカート用車両に武将カート専用の装飾を施した専用仕様。ベースになっているのは、ビレル製フレームN35-STにヤマハ製エンジンMZ200RKCの組み合わせ。このレンタルカート用車両に戦国武将をイメージした黒色パネルに金銀の龍虎や家紋などの紋様を配したものを装着しています。

The vehicle used in the Busho kart is a special specification of Sportsland SUGO’s rental kart vehicle with special decorations for the Busho Kart.
The base is a combination of Birrell frame N35-ST and Yamaha engine MZ200RKC. This rental kart vehicle is equipped with a black panel inspired by Sengoku warlords (Samurai/Samurai Masters) with patterns such as gold and silver dragons and tigers and family crests.

武将カートに参加するドライバーには、モータースポーツとしての安全確保と歴史ロマンを楽しむためのアイテムが両立した扮装をしていただきます。長袖・長ズボン・踵のない靴（スニーカー推奨）といった服装はもちろんですが、冒頭文にもあるように、ヘルメットは侍の兜に見立てた前立て付きの武将カート専用ヘルメット、籠手の代わりにグローブを装着していただきます。さらに合戦の際に武士が着ていた「陣羽織」を着ていただくと戦国武将の気分が盛り上がります。加えてオプションとして鎧甲冑に準えたプロテクタースーツを着ていただくことも可能です。
なお、長袖、長ズボン、グローブ、スポーツシューズで走行していただきますが、走行に必要な装備品は男性用、女性用とも無料でレンタル致しますので、お気軽にお越しください。
